HORSE CARE
TRANSPORT
The utmost attention is given to the health and well-being of the horses in training.

The presence of a vet seven days a week ensures the careful monitoring of each horse.

A blacksmith is also available every day to care for the horses’ feet.

An osteophath is sometimes called on for specific muscular and skeletal exercises and manipulations.

The bedding in the boxes is changed every other day for increased hygiene and comfort.
Travelling can be a decisive factor in a horse’s performance.
No matter how far they have to travel, to a local track, to Paris or to another country, the horses are always accompanied by a member of the team to ensure there
well-being.

The yard has its own transport allowing it to remain independent and minimise costs, but when necessary it uses horse transport companies.

The horses’ nutrition is taken very seriously at Marcel Rolland’s yard.
It is adapted to the rigours of racing and training and includes:

• mineral complements
• cereals
• cooked mash
• oats
• alfalfa and crau hay.

The diet can be tailored to meet individual needs.
All the training equipment is rigourously maintained.

The comfort of the horses is always a priority in the yard so the material is adapted to each horse according to its needs
and morphology.
